Lil Wayne is actually known as Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. in which he was born on September 27, 1982. He is one of the newer hip hop artists in which he has released his hit songs “Lollipop” and “Mr. Carter” to name a few. He is currently with the label called Cash Money Records. His ringtones are one of the most popular downloaded since he has songs that are on the top of the billboard charts. Lil Wayne grew up in Hollygrove which is a neighborhood just outside of New Orleans, LA. He actually first performed in a group called Hot Boys in which they released their first CD in 1998.
